Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine: The Journey of the Couple

Maroon 5 vocalist Adam Levine has been dating supermodels since a long time. He is particularly fond of the gorgeous ladies appearing on Victoria’s Secret catalogues. So, it’s not surprising that his present wife Behati Prinsloo is also a Victoria’s Secret Model. However, Levine didn’t find Prinsloo when flipping through any magazine. The first meeting of the duo actually took place in a pretty awkward setting. The vocalist met Behati for the first time in 2011 at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. At that time, Adam was dating Anne V., another Victoria’s Secret Model. Adam and Anne’s relationship continued for another year. So, it can be said that it was definitely not love at first sight for Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine.

Adam started dating Behati only after he was dumped by Anne in 2012. Although the breakup left Adam heartbroken, he didn’t take more than a few months to recover. Just a couple of months following the split, he was found kissing Prinsloo in Hawaii. Soon their relationship became the talk of the town. We could see stories and rumors appearing on the front page of tabloids almost every other day. The scenario is the same even today.

Their relationship reportedly went through several ups and downs and it took them almost two years to decide to tie the knot. Since their relationship became public in 2012, there have been several rumors suggesting that the two might split soon. They couple even split briefly in 2013, but soon they patched up and got engaged. Since then, it has been a happy story and within a year they decided to get married.

The supermodel and the Maroon 5 frontman got married on July 19, 2014. The good looking duo looked perfect in their wedding outfits. Prinsloo was wearing a gorgeous Marchesa gown, while Levin donned a fitted tuxedo. The wedding ceremony was attended by around 300 guests. Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac flew in to perform at the event.

The world was eager to know about the honeymoon plans of the newlyweds. Soon, it was reported that post marriage they are flying to South Africa for their honeymoon.

Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine had a weekend wedding. Although the main ceremony was on Saturday, the celebrations began on Friday night. Around 100 guests were present to celebrate the night before the wedding. They were shuttled to El Dorado from their respective hotels for a secret beach party. The most prominent features of the party were the ice cream truck and the champagne bar. A DJ was also hired by the couple for keeping guests entertained. Class rock and alternative songs made up the most wanted lists of the guests that night.

The rumors of breakup didn’t stop even after the duo tried their knot. Reports published in July 2015 suggested that Adam has gone back to his play boy mode and that has left Behati deeply shocked. The rumors didn’t stop coming even after the couple was found celebrating their first anniversary in the same place they got married.

When a couple is really in love, they want to be with each other for the rest of their lives. To make that possible they get married. If the love continues to blossom, they decide to give their love a new name in the form of a baby. Something similar happened to Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine. In spite of issues, the duo has always been deeply in love with each other and there’s no one who can deny this fact. Their relationship was definitely not loveless. So, to protect the love they decided to have a baby.

In February 2016 the good-looking singer announced that he is now ready to start a family with his striking wife. He told the reporters and he and his wife think that spring 2016 would be the ideal time for getting pregnant. It didn’t take the duo much time to make that happen. The big announcement came on the last week of March 2016 and that seems to have revived their relationship instantly. The couple has been troubled by multiple marriage trouble and divorce rumors in the past couple of years. The news of Behati’s pregnancy will probably bring an end to all those talks, at least temporarily.

Reports suggest that the Victoria’s Secret supermodel is around 3 to 4 months into her pregnancy and the news has left her rocker husband overjoyed. He is just too excited about impending fatherhood. Behati also seems to be extremely happy. She probably had the most difficult time since getting married as people were constantly asking her whether Adam was really cheating on her. Right now, however, she is content and it seems that she has got what she has always wanted.
